“当然，我们将更新[Palworld]，添加新的内容，”他说，开发商Pocketpair计划添加新地图、更多新的伙伴以及突袭Boss，以保持游戏的新鲜感。“但对于Palworld的未来，我们正在考虑两种选择，”Mizobé补充道。
“要么我们完成Palworld，作为一个‘打包’的买断制(B2P)游戏；要么它成为一款直播服务游戏(在采访中被称为LiveOps)，”Mizobé解释道。B2P是一种收入模式，玩家只需一次性购买即可访问和玩完整游戏。而在直播服务模式(也称为游戏即服务)中，游戏通常采用货币化方案，持续发布付费内容。
“从商业角度来看，将Palworld转变为直播服务游戏将提供更多盈利机会，并有助于延长游戏本身的生命周期。”然而，Mizobé指出，Palworld最初并非设计为直播服务模式，“因此，如果我们选择这条路，肯定会充满挑战。”
Mizobé表示，他们必须仔细考虑的另一个方面是Palworld作为直播服务游戏对玩家的吸引力。“最重要的是[确定]玩家是否想要它。”他补充道，“通常情况下，一款游戏必须已经是免费游戏(F2P)，才能采用直播服务游戏模式，然后才能添加付费内容，例如皮肤和战斗通行证。但Palworld是一款一次性购买的游戏(B2P)，因此很难将其转变为直播服务游戏。”
他进一步解释说：“有很多游戏成功地转向了F2P，”他引用了《PUBG》和《Fall Guys》等热门游戏，“但这两种游戏都花了数年时间才成功实现这一转变。虽然我理解直播服务模式对业务有利，但这并非易事。”
Mizobé表示，目前，Pocketpair正在探索更多方法来吸引更多玩家，同时让现有玩家满意。“我们也建议实施广告货币化，但基本前提是，除非是手机游戏，否则广告货币化很难适应，”他补充道，并指出他不记得有哪些PC游戏从广告货币化中受益。他还谈到了他对PC玩家行为的观察，他说：“即使它对PC游戏有效，在Steam上玩游戏的人也会讨厌广告。很多用户在插入广告时会生气。”
“因此，目前，我们正在仔细权衡Palworld应该采取的方向，”Mizobé总结道。目前，Palworld仍处于抢先体验阶段，最近发布了最大的更新Sakurajima，并推出了备受期待的PvP竞技场模式。
