Console Performance Goals Unveiled
Monster Hunter Wilds will launch with a PS5 Pro patch offering enhanced visuals. The December 19th community update stream detailed console performance targets:
- PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X: Two modes – "Prioritize Graphics" (4K, 30fps) and "Prioritize Framerate" (1080p, 60fps). A rendering bug affecting the framerate mode has been resolved.
- Xbox Series S: Native 1080p resolution at 30fps.
PS5 Pro specifics remain limited to "enhanced graphics" at launch.
Lowered Minimum PC Specs Incoming

While initial PC specs were previously released, the team confirmed efforts to reduce minimum requirements for broader accessibility. Details will be shared closer to launch, and Capcom is considering a PC benchmark tool.
Second Open Beta Under Consideration

Gameplay Refinements
The livestream also covered adjustments to hitstop and sound effects for increased impact, friendly fire mitigation, and weapon tweaks focusing on the Insect Glaive, Switch Axe, and Lance.
