Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?
Developed by Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players is whether the pity counter carries over between banners. The answer is: yes, for limited banners.
Your accumulated pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next limited-time banner. This was observed during the global launch with the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners. Pity progress applied to both, regardless of which banner you pulled on. This means you can strategically utilize your near-pity pulls to maximize your chances on a preferred character.
This carry-over system applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese server players. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners ended, the accumulated pity carried over to the subsequent limited banner.
However, it's crucial to remember that pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot accumulate pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner.
While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. Your chances of obtaining an SSR unit gradually increase after 58 pulls, culminating in guaranteed SSR at pull 80.
This clarifies the pity system in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
