My Father Lied: Unveiled on Android in 2023

In a world saturated with games, finding a truly unique title can be a challenge. My Father Lied, however, stands out with its compelling narrative. This mystery/Lovecraftian puzzle adventure boasts a story that's as captivating as its gameplay.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Vision

The game's creation story is fascinating. Ahmed Alameen, the developer, initially pursued writing and filmmaking. A college collaboration idea fizzled, but the core narrative lingered. Alameen, self-taught in 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, embarked on a solo journey, bringing his vision to life. Even the title itself was a collaborative effort with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery

My Father Lied plunges players into a world steeped in ancient Mesopotamian myths, secrets, puzzles, and surprises. Players assume the role of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old mystery surrounding her father's disappearance. The truth, as the story unfolds, proves far more complex than anticipated.

Blending ancient Mesopotamian culture with modern storytelling, My Father Lied offers a unique blend of history and fiction. The intuitive point-and-click gameplay, coupled with stunning 2D visuals and 360-degree imagery, ensures an immersive experience.
