Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has faced yet another delay, now setting its sights on an October 2025 release. This news comes directly from the game's official Twitter (X) account, announced on March 26, accompanied by a video update from Executive Producer Marco Behrmann. In the video, Behrmann shared that the game is essentially complete, but the team is now focusing on crucial aspects like bug fixing, stability, and performance to ensure the best possible experience for players upon release.
Paradox Interactive has been keeping the community engaged through a series of Dev Diaries, which have covered everything from character development to game mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all future Dev Diaries have been put on hold. This shift in focus underscores Paradox's commitment to delivering a polished final product.
A History of Delays
Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 launch. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game saw its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, followed by another push to 2021. Amidst these delays, several key team members departed the project. In a significant shift, Paradox announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and development would be handed over to The Chinese Room. Since then, the game's release has been rescheduled multiple times—from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to the end of 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For the latest updates and more information on the game, be sure to check out our detailed article below!
