The new year in Pokémon GO brings a wave of exciting Pokémon, and Shroodle is the latest addition! However, unlike many other Pokémon, catching Shroodle isn't as simple as a wild encounter.
Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut:
The Toxic Mouse Pokémon, Shroodle, arrived in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Shroodle continues to be available after the event concludes.
Shiny Shroodle?
Currently, a Shiny Shroodle is unavailable in Pokémon GO. Expect its Shiny variant to appear in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket themed event.
How to Catch Shroodle:

Obtaining 12KM Eggs:
12KM Eggs are a rarity, obtainable only by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event provides increased opportunities to encounter Team GO Rocket, making this a prime time to collect 12KM Eggs.
Grafaiai Acquisition:

Pokémon GO is available now.
