January 2025 Gacha Game Revenue: Genshin Impact Leads the Pack
The gacha game market continues to generate significant revenue, with January 2025 figures revealing some interesting trends. Genshin Impact, boosted by a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, saw a dramatic surge in revenue, doubling its December 2024 earnings to a staggering $99.4 million.

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokemon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, rounded out the top three, generating $55.2 million.
A noticeable decline was observed in Honkai Star Rail's earnings, which dropped to $50.8 million. Zenless Zone Zero also experienced a significant downturn, with revenue halved from $57.9 million in the previous month to $26.3 million in January.
It's important to note that this ranking considers only mobile platform revenues. Furthermore, the data incorporates a multiplier for Android revenue in China, as Google Play is unavailable in that market and calculations rely on iOS revenue figures.
