Victoria Hand Deck Synergies
- Victoria Hand enhances cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl serve as your card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards like Victoria Hand for added buffs or disruption.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards, allowing you to play more.
- The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo acts as a tech card, protecting Devil Dino and Victoria Hand from attacks when deployed in the same lane.
- Devil Dinosaur is your win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or when you have numerous generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or cards that change locations. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification, as it specifies buffs for cards generated in "your" hand. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when using Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
When playing a Victoria Hand deck, remember:
- Balance card generation and energy management. A full hand maximizes Devil Dinosaur's potential, but you also need space to generate cards and utilize Victoria Hand's effect. Efficient energy use is crucial; sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand is more beneficial than filling the board.
- Employ joker cards to mislead your opponent. Victoria Hand decks generate many random cards. Strategic placement of these cards can distract your opponent and mask your next move.
- Protect your Ongoing lane. Opponents often target the Victoria Hand lane with tech cards like Enchantress. Counter this by playing Devil Dinosaur and Victoria Hand in the same lane (creating an Ongoing setup) and shielding them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also proving effective in refined discard decks within the current meta. Pair her with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.

Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull is an excellent counter to Victoria Hand in the current meta. Many players still use Doctor Doom 2099 decks, which Skrull synergizes with, making him a strong tech card against both Victoria Hand and Doom 2099 lineups.
Other counters include Shadow King and Enchantress. Shadow King removes Victoria Hand's buffs from a single lane, while Enchantress negates her buffs entirely by removing all Ongoing effects. Valkyrie, played in a critical enemy lane, can also disrupt their Power distribution.
Is Victoria Hand a Valuable Acquisition?
Victoria Hand is a worthwhile addition to your collection. Whether acquired through the Spotlight Cache or purchased with Tokens, she offers a strong return on investment. While her effectiveness relies somewhat on RNG, her permanent buffs enable consistent deck building. Her compatibility with multiple archetypes—card-generation and discard—makes her a valuable asset for many players.
