Get ready for an explosive update with Genshin Impact Version 5.5, "Day of the Flame's Return," set to launch on March 26th. This update will intensify the adventure in Natlan, bringing not only a thrilling storyline but also significant gameplay enhancements.
One of the most anticipated features in this update is the introduction of controller support for Android devices. This long-awaited addition will enhance the gaming experience on mobile platforms. You can find more details on compatible controllers here.
What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?
Prepare to explore the southwestern part of Natlan, where you'll encounter a new tribe, a colossal volcano, and new characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan is home to ancient secrets and a long-dormant sacred city. With magma bubbling beneath, your mission is to unravel the mysteries of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the enigmatic Little One. You'll also meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values physical strength and incorporates it into their daily life.
Version 5.5 introduces two new playable characters: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, uniquely restores Phlogiston after consuming food, making her an essential support character outside of combat. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, blends offense with support capabilities. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, she gains the Warming Up effect, enabling continuous healing.
During the first phase of Version 5.5’s Event Wishes, you can pull for Varesa and Iansan, along with Xianyun’s rerun. Subsequent phases will feature reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Check out all these exciting additions below.
The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback
In this update, you'll collaborate with Natlan allies like Mavuika and Ifa to help a sick Saurian. Additionally, a fun mini-game, "Saurian Treasure Seeker," allows you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. By participating, you can invite Ororon to your team for free.
Challenge yourself against a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, lurking in the volcanic fissures. You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this expansive update as soon as it's released.
