NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, as the game never reached its fully polished release. Following a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush EOS Date:
The game's servers will be taken offline on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and Discord will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The shutdown announcement is understandably disappointing for players who invested time in Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game suffered from some gameplay issues, including occasionally clunky controls and pacing problems. This lack of polish likely contributed to the decision to end service.
You can still experience Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our next article covering the story-driven quests in Black Desert Mobile's Autumn Season.
