Remedy Entertainment has announced the launch of the Alan Wake 2 Anniversary Update, coinciding with the release of the Lake House DLC. This substantial, free update arrives October 22nd.
"It's hard to believe it's been nearly a year since Alan Wake 2's release," Remedy stated in their blog post, expressing gratitude to the fanbase.
This major update significantly enhances accessibility. Key additions include:
- Expanded Accessibility Options: Features like infinite ammo and one-hit kills are now available.
- Improved Controls: Horizontal axis inversion is added, alongside DualSense enhancements for PS5 players, providing haptic feedback for healing items and throwable objects.
The update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Remedy highlighted their ongoing commitment to the game, stating that development hasn't ceased since the initial launch. These improvements are bundled into the Anniversary Update, timed to coincide with the game's release anniversary.
