Kirin Joins Monster Hunter Now for Lunar New Year

Apr 16,2025 Author: Patrick

Niantic is bringing the spirit of the Lunar New Year to Monster Hunter Now, offering hunters a chance to snag some exclusive gear. Starting February, the legendary elder dragon Kirin will make an appearance, accompanied by the return of exclusive equipment from last year's festivities.

For those gearing up to face Kirin, don't worry—alongside the dragon comes a powerful dragon-element light bowgun. And to enhance your arsenal, you can dive into the Lunar New Year-themed packs, which include layered equipment. After all, ringing in the new year calls for some stylish new gear, doesn't it?

The event, running until February 2nd, gives you the opportunity to claim the Lucky Dragon Hammer, Fortune Dragon Fans, and Dragon Dance Mask if you missed out last year. If you're brave enough to take on Gold Rathian, Pink Rathian, or Banbaro, you can earn Tickets for the Lucky Light Bowgun, Lucky Dragon Hammer, and Fortune Dragon Fans.

ytFor detailed info on the limited-time quests, check out the official update announcement. And if you're after more free rewards, don't forget to browse our list of Monster Hunter Now codes.

To join the festivities, you can download Monster Hunter Now for free from the App Store and Google Play, with optional in-app purchases available.
