Following yesterday's announcement of Sky: Children of the Light's Lunar New Year event, January's chill is being melted by the warmth of this popular holiday celebration. Even the intense world of naval combat is joining in, as World of Warships Legends launches its Sun Wukong-themed event!
Sun Wukong, the iconic Monkey King from the classic novel Journey to the West, needs no introduction. He’s a beloved figure in Asian literature and the perfect centerpiece for World of Warships Legends' Lunar New Year festivities.
This update includes a campaign for the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, but the star is undoubtedly Wukong. He'll be available as a commander for all nations, alongside his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, the Wukong, and numerous other skins inspired by characters from Journey to the West.
Prosperity Awaits!
But that's not all! World of Warships Legends is bringing back previous Lunar New Year content. The Celestial Guardian commander guise returns, offering a daily bonus alongside several Pan-Asian and Japanese ships sporting ornate skins. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates in the store and in-game, containing rewards including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
