Danganronpa Creator's Tribe Nine Opens Pre-Registration

Tribe Nine, a new mobile ARPG from Danganronpa creators Rui Komatsuzaki and Kazutaka Kodaka, is now accepting pre-registrations for Android and iOS! Pre-register to receive an exclusive skin and other in-game rewards.

Komatsuzaki's distinctive art style and Kodaka's design expertise, hallmarks of the popular PSP visual novel Danganronpa, are once again on display. Tribe Nine plunges players into a dystopian Neo-Tokyo in 20XX, where teenagers compete in the perilous Extreme Games orchestrated by the enigmatic Zero.

Pre-registration rewards include the Parallel Cypher / Y skin for Koishi Kohinata. The game blends thrilling action with a retro aesthetic, featuring retro-style sprite overworld exploration and full 3D battles. Players can customize their characters with unique equipment and utilize Tension Cards for strategic build diversity.

While Danganronpa may be considered a classic, its innovative blend of art and murder-mystery gameplay once set it apart from other visual novels. Whether Tribe Nine achieves similar success remains to be seen. While its visual style is unique, the 3D turn-based battle genre is saturated.
