The Zipato app empowers both professionals and DIY enthusiasts to build and manage intuitive smart home systems with ease. This comprehensive platform offers a wide array of features:

Key Features:

• Device Management: Create and manage multiple systems, integrate subsystems, pair and configure devices across various standards (Z-wave, KNX, ModBus, EnOcean, ULE, Zigbee, Philips Hue, Sonos, and more).

• Professional Security System: Includes multi-partition capabilities, cross-zoning, user roles, and alerts for intrusion, smoke, water leaks, and carbon monoxide.

• Smart Thermostat: Design a custom thermostat using system devices, manage multiple zones and schedules, and integrate with popular thermostats.

• Video Intercom: Enjoy video and voice-enabled door phone functionality, integrating with Zipato SIP servers and other compatible systems.

• Lighting & Power Management: Control dimming, switching, RGBW lighting, monitor consumption, and manage motors for curtains, shutters, and valves. Includes IR control for A/C and AV devices, plus door lock control with access code management.

• Video Monitoring: Access live IP camera views, utilize event-based recording and messaging, and enjoy multi-camera monitoring, timeline, and gallery views.

• Automation: Create simple rules using the mobile interface, leverage geofencing for location-based rules, utilize a customizable scheduler, group devices into scenarios, and integrate with rules created via the online Rule Creator.

Important Notes:

• Requires at least one Zipato controller (Zipabox2 or Zipatile2 recommended).
• Existing Zipato users: This app utilizes the Zipato v3 backend. Systems must be created from scratch. You'll need to unregister your controller from Zipato v2 and register it within a Zipato v3 system using this app.

Version 3.5.0 (October 25, 2024):

This update includes bug fixes (handling failed Z-wave hard reset messages, energy save cool setpoint issues, and other minor fixes), performance improvements (camera thumbnails, gallery, and clips views), and enhanced stability. New features added include Zigbee hard reset functionality and camera snapshots view. A banner has also been added to indicate controllers in maintenance mode.
