The app also has a social aspect. Tumblr for Android automatically detects which of your contacts are on Tumblr, allowing you to easily add them as followers or follow them yourself. You can also choose to ignore users if you're not interested in their posts. As always, sending private messages to other users is easy, as is checking the number of likes your latest post has received and viewing any comments or reposts.

Tumblr is a great app for blogging, but it does have a few drawbacks. Since it originated as a desktop browser-based site, it's still best viewed on a larger screen. However, if you want real-time notifications about the latest activity on your Tumblr page, this app is a quick and easy solution.
