Star Wars Outlaws Title Update 1.4 Releases This November 21st

Star Wars Outlaws’ New Creative Director Details Three Areas of Focus

In their first major post-launch update for Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft's new Creative Director, Drew Rechner, has outlined plans to enhance the game's mechanics and player experience. This update responds directly to fan feedback on crucial aspects such as combat, stealth, and controls. According to the developer's post, this "biggest update yet" is scheduled for release on November 21, coinciding with the game's launch on Steam and the introduction of its first DLC.

The developer update begins with a heartfelt thank-you from Rechner to the Outlaws community for their passion and support, which has manifested in "fan arts, comments, and videos you’ve created around the game." Rechner, in his inaugural message as Creative Director, also acknowledges the constructive feedback from players, stating, "Thank you for sharing with us and helping us make the game even better."

With three title updates already released, Massive Entertainment is addressing some of the most significant community concerns. These patches have tackled bugs, enhanced mission dynamics, and refined the speeder camera and collision for a smoother experience across diverse landscapes, from desert planets to lush jungles.

While Game8 awarded the game a score of 90, commending it as an exceptional game that does justice to the Star Wars franchise, Rechner believes there is still potential for improvement. In the Developer Update, he pinpointed three key areas that could "elevate the game even further."
