Black Ops 6 Zombies: Jingle Hells Unveils Weapon Enhancements

Jan 12,2025 Author: Harper

Jingle Hells, the festive Black Ops 6 Zombies mode, offers a unique twist on weapon progression and upgrades. Forget the Arsenal Machine – this holiday-themed map relies on Aether Tools for weapon upgrades. Let's explore how to enhance your arsenal and secure essential Ammo Mods.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Unlike standard Black Ops 6 Zombies, Jingle Hells doesn't feature the Arsenal Machine. Instead, you'll need Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity levels (color-coded). Using an Aether Tool upgrades your weapon to that rarity tier (e.g., a purple Aether Tool boosts your weapon to Legendary rarity). Here are ways to acquire Aether Tools:

  • Church Spire: Toss a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. This will trigger a zombie drop, with one carrying an Aether Tool. Higher rounds yield higher-rarity tools.
  • Bank Vault: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes in the Bank Vault, offering a chance at Aether Tools of various rarities.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing these trials, especially at higher reward tiers, can reward you with Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity using this GobbleGum.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the rounds progress.

Securing Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Cryo Freeze is the sole Ammo Mod in Jingle Hells, dropping as a consumable item. The primary method for obtaining it is through Holiday Presents, which contain random loot with increasing rarity at higher rounds. Holiday Presents can be acquired in several ways:

  • Enemy Kills: They occasionally drop from slain enemies.
  • Naughty or Nice Power-up: This stocking-shaped power-up grants either a "Nice" or "Naughty" UI banner. "Nice" drops multiple Holiday Presents, while "Naughty" spawns hordes of vermin.
  • S.A.M. Machine: The S.A.M. Machine spawns several Holiday Presents upon its appearance.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The Workbench's absence means no Salvage-based crafting. However, equipment and Support items (Chopper Gunners, etc.) can still be found:

  • Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemies.
  • Holiday Presents: These can contain equipment.
  • Special/Elite Enemy Kills: Support items drop from these tougher foes.
  • S.A.M. Trials: These trials can reward equipment and Support.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: These boxes have a chance to contain equipment and Support.

Mastering these methods ensures you're well-equipped to conquer Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
