Your destination is Lake Biwa, a vast body of water central to the Omi region. It's advisable to secure a boat as soon as possible, either from the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim to your destination, though a boat is recommended for ease and speed.

Aim for the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, located just northwest of Azuchi. Upon arrival, the game will unveil Okishima Island, featuring a Kakurega where you can rest. You'll notice plenty of dried fish near the docks, a clear sign that this island is home to a particular type of animal.

To immerse yourself in the cat-filled environment of Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter an increasing number of cats.
