War Thunder Unveils Firebirds Update with Aircraft Expansion

Gaijin Entertainment's War Thunder is about to receive a fiery injection of new content with the upcoming Firebirds update, slated for early November. This major update boasts a significant addition of aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, promising a thrilling expansion for players.

New Aircraft Soar into War Thunder

The Firebirds update introduces a selection of iconic aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle. These additions represent a significant leap in the game's aerial combat capabilities.

The F-117A Nighthawk, a pioneering stealth aircraft, marks a first for War Thunder. Its unique design, incorporating radar-absorbing materials and angular surfaces to deflect radar waves, makes it a formidable opponent capable of evading detection. Its real-world record of over 1,200 combat sorties without a single loss speaks volumes about its effectiveness.

In contrast to the stealthy Nighthawk, the F-15E Strike Eagle prioritizes raw power. This enhanced variant of the classic F-15 fighter boasts a 50% increase in payload capacity and features ground target detection radar. Its arsenal includes a wide range of weaponry, from AGM-65 Maverick missiles and laser-guided bombs to JDAM and GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs, making it a true force multiplier.

Beyond the Skies: Ground and Naval Reinforcements

The Firebirds update isn't limited to aircraft. New ground vehicles and warships are also joining the fray, including the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the imposing French Dunkerque battleship. These additions broaden the strategic options available to players across multiple combat domains.

Aces High Season Continues

The new Aces High season is currently underway, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and other rewards by completing the season and Battle Pass. This includes aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, as well as formidable ground units like the T54E2 and G6, and naval vessels such as the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.

Download War Thunder Mobile today from the Google Play Store and prepare for the arrival of these exciting new additions in the Firebirds update. Don't forget to check out our other news, including coverage of BTS Cooking On: TinyTAN Restaurant’s New DNA-Themed Festival.
