New WoW Warbands Campsites Unveiled

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character selection screen backgrounds: collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available at launch, with more promised in future updates.

This new personalization feature expands upon the Warbands system from The War Within. Players can now select from multiple campsites, each with a unique name and unlockable background.

Accessing and Unlocking Campsites:

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after the patch. The others require completing specific achievements or progressing through seasonal content.

Character Selection Screen Changes:

The character selection screen now includes a dedicated campsite tab, simplifying the selection process. Players can even set the selection to randomize their favorite backgrounds on each login.

Blizzard's commitment to expanding the Warbands system is evident. Future updates will likely introduce additional campsites through various avenues, including new content, older zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, and potentially even the in-game shop. Expect to collect these alongside mounts, pets, and other collectibles.
