World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," expands beyond its namesake zone, introducing several new subzones. Key additions include Gutterville and Kaja'Coast, significantly enhancing the Goblin experience.
New Subzones:
-
Gutterville: Situated within the Ringing Deeps, Gutterville features Excavation Site 9, one of two new Delves in Patch 11.1. Its maroon coloration suggests corruption by Black Blood, potentially linking it directly to Undermine.
-
Kaja'Coast: Located in Zuldazar near Bilgewater Bonanza, this new Goblin encampment likely serves as another access point to Undermine. Its proximity to existing Goblin infrastructure hints at a significant expansion of their territory.
Undermine and its Connections:
Undermine, the subterranean Goblin capital, is the central focus of Patch 11.1. Its map reveals Slam Central Station as the primary entry point, with five visible terminals suggesting further connections to other Azeroth locations beyond Gutterville and Kaja'Coast. The possibility of three additional, yet-to-be-revealed, Goblin-themed areas remains.
Release Timeline:
While a firm release date is pending, Patch 11.1 is anticipated for mid-to-late February. Early January will see the update's arrival on the Public Test Realm (PTR), allowing players early access to explore these exciting new additions.
