Warpath

Lilith Games' military strategy MMO, Warpath, receives a massive naval update introducing a new Naval Force system and nearly 100 meticulously detailed, realistic ships.

Warpath's Naval Update: A Sea of New Possibilities

Take command of powerful warships, each mirroring real-world counterparts in their combat capabilities. Dominate from afar with the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier and its long-range air strikes, or employ stealth tactics with the Project 971 Submarine for surprise ambushes. The Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyer delivers precise, devastating guided missile attacks.

The Naval Force is categorized into six distinct combat roles:

  • Submarines: Masters of stealth, utilizing their Silent Running ability.
  • Anti-Submarine Frigates: Swift hunters, specifically designed to counter submarines.
  • Aircraft Carriers: Long-range powerhouses, launching devastating air strikes.
  • Anti-Aircraft Destroyers: Protect the skies and engage surface threats.
  • Armored Destroyers: Slow but heavily armored, acting as frontline damage sponges.
  • Guided Missile Destroyers: Long-range specialists, ideal for eliminating enemy bases from a distance.

Strategic Depth and Enhanced Gameplay

Lilith Games has implemented a carefully balanced system to promote strategic decision-making. Submarines can ambush carriers, but risk being detected by the faster frigates. Armored Destroyers absorb damage, while missile destroyers provide long-range firepower. Naval battles have been refined with adjusted attack and defense stats for more tactical combat, and ships now maintain firing capabilities while moving.
