World of Warcraft Reveals Second Turbulent Timeways Timewalking Event Schedule

World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Get ready for a nostalgic journey through WoW's history, with a chance to earn exciting new rewards and a significant experience boost.

This expanded event builds upon the popular five-week Turbulent Timeways event from September 2023. Players will once again have the opportunity to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons. However, this time around, the rewards are even more substantial.

Seven Weeks of Timewalking Fun:

The event progresses through various expansions, each week featuring a different Timewalking campaign:

  • January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
  • January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
  • January 21-27: Legion
  • January 28-February 3: Classic
  • February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
  • February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
  • February 18-24: Cataclysm

Rewards Galore:

Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest awards a Cache of Nerubian Treasures, now granting Heroic gear during the Turbulent Timeways event. Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Players who missed out on the Sandy Shalewing pet from the previous event can also obtain it this time around.

Master the Turbulent Timeways:

The ultimate prize awaits those who achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks. They'll unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, rewarding them with the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount!

Looking Ahead:

The conclusion of the Turbulent Timeways event on February 24th offers a significant clue about upcoming WoW content. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the launch of Patch 11.1, "Undermined," ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With the Turbulent Timeways, Plunderstorm's extended run, and The War Within's upcoming update, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for an action-packed start to 2025. Prepare for an epic adventure!
