Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 01 Reloaded: New Perk, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade
The Call of Duty Zombies scene gets a major boost with the Season 01 Reloaded update for Black Ops 6. While the new map, Citadelle des Morts, steals the spotlight, several exciting additions enhance the gameplay. Let's explore the new Perk, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade.
Vulture Aid Perk and Augments
Making a comeback from Black Ops 2's Buried map, Vulture Aid is a scavenging utility perk. Found in Citadelle des Morts's Perk Machine, and the Der Wunderfizz Machine on Terminus and Liberty Falls, this perk increases loot drops from slain zombies. Expect extra ammo and Essence. Augments further enhance its capabilities:
Major Augments:
- Fetid Upgr-aid: Adds a chance for gas clouds that charge Field Upgrades.
- Smell of Death: Creates concealing gas clouds upon zombie kills.
- Parting Gift: Wonder Weapon ammo drops are significantly increased.
Minor Augments:
- Condor’s Reach: Expands the auto-pickup radius for loot.
- Carrion Luggage: Critical kills yield extra Salvage.
- Picky Eater: Increases the chance of dropping your currently equipped items.
Light Mend Ammo Mod and Augments
Light Mend is a brand-new Ammo Mod debuting alongside Citadelle des Morts, also available on Terminus, Liberty Falls, and future maps. Unlike other mods focused on zombie damage, Light Mend prioritizes player defense and healing. Light elemental damage from bullets transforms enemy health into healing glyphs for nearby allies. Augments provide further customization:
Major Augments:
- Antibiotic: Healing glyphs damage enemies on contact, but have reduced duration.
- Big Game: Enables healing glyph generation from Elite enemies, dropping three additional glyphs.
- Dual Action: Consuming a glyph temporarily accelerates healing.
Minor Augments:
- Longer Life: Extends the healing glyph's active time.
- Extra Strength: Increases health replenishment per glyph.
- Express Remedy: Increases the range the glyph travels to reach allies.
The Light Mend Ammo Mod is unlocked through the Merry Mayhem Event.
Tesla Storm Field Upgrade and Augments
Returning from Black Ops Cold War, Tesla Storm is a Field Upgrade that summons electricity, stunning and damaging nearby enemies for 10 seconds. The effect connects to allies, amplifying its impact. Augments modify its effects:
Major Augments:
- Transformer: Damage increases based on the number of connected allies.
- Shockwave: Upon activation, stuns and damages all nearby enemies.
- Static Discharge: Creates a lethal electrical surge on activation.
Minor Augments:
- Power Grid: Increases the range of electrical connections to allies.
- Overclocked: Boosts movement speed while Tesla Storm is active.
- Lithium Charged: Extends Tesla Storm's duration.
The Tesla Storm Field Upgrade is also unlocked through the Merry Mayhem Event.
