New Tony Hawk Game Speculation Intensifies

In a recent YouTube appearance on Mythical Kitchen, Hawk revealed the exciting news, stating, "I've been talking to Activision again, which is insanely exciting. We're working on something—This is the first time I've said that publicly." While specifics remain undisclosed, Hawk assured fans that the project will be highly appreciated.
The original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater launched on September 29, 1999, and the franchise has since achieved massive success with numerous sequels. A remastered collection of THPS 1+2 was released in 2020, and plans for remastered versions of 3 and 4 were once underway but ultimately cancelled due to the closure of Vicarious Visions.

In anticipation of the anniversary, the game's social media channels have already shared celebratory artwork and a giveaway of the THPS 1+2 Collector's Edition. Speculation is rife regarding a potential new game announcement, possibly coinciding with a rumored Sony State of Play event this month. However, the nature of the project remains unconfirmed; it could be a new game or a revival of the cancelled remaster project.
