Mastering Stealth in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: The Art of Rock Throwing

While direct combat has its thrills, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's stealth mechanics offer a compelling alternative. A key element of successful stealth is the ability to distract enemies using rocks. Here's how to effectively utilize this skill.

Remember: Rock throwing is exclusively a stealth action. Enter stealth mode by clicking the right stick (controllers) or pressing C (PC). Once in stealth, hold the designated button to initiate a throw:

  • PlayStation: R1
  • Xbox: RB
  • PC: G

Holding the button will bring up a targeting reticule showing Henry's hand and the trajectory of your throw. Release the button to launch the rock.

Pro-Tips for Rock Throwing:

Unlimited Ammo: You have an infinite supply of pebbles, so don't worry about conserving your ammunition.

Noise Radius: The sound radius of a thrown pebble is relatively small, making it crucial to ensure your target is within close proximity. Keep in mind that hitting objects like cups or plates will create a louder, more noticeable sound.

Distraction Tactics: A well-placed rock will draw enemies' attention, giving you an opportunity to either eliminate them silently or simply slip away unnoticed. However, be cautious – a direct hit on an enemy will immediately alert them.

Beyond Distraction: Bird Nests! Explore the game world to locate numerous bird nests. These nests contain valuable loot, such as eggs (providing a small health boost) or even rare dice badges.
