Tears of Themis Drops the Ballad of the Dunes Event with New MR Cards

HoYoverse has unveiled an exciting new update for *Tears of Themis* titled "Ballad of the Dunes," which marks a unique collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This event beautifully intertwines the allure of detective work with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city nestled on the edge of the Gobi Desert, bringing a touch of ancient Silk Road charm to the game.

What Does Ballad of the Dunes Bring to Tears of Themis?

The "Ballad of the Dunes" event is a captivating blend of history, romance, and mystery, set against the timeless backdrop of the ancient Silk Road. Players will immerse themselves in solving mysteries amidst the enchanting atmosphere of Dunhuang. Here’s what you can expect from this update:

The event introduces four new MR cards, each featuring one of the main characters—Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius—styled after iconic elements of Dunhuang's culture. You'll encounter flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the classic pipa played behind the back, reminiscent of the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves. This collaboration brings the vibrant art, culture, and trade of the Silk Road from the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD) to life within *Tears of Themis*.

Each card tells a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." These cards also come with Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year journey, enriching the narrative experience.

What Are the Rewards?

From February 13th to February 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and various other rewards by completing event tasks. The main challenge involves flipping cells on a game board to uncover these rewards. The ultimate prize of the "Ballad of the Dunes" event is a pack of the new MR cards. Players can choose one of the four MR cards as their final reward in each round. Additionally, flipping 100 cells will grant you the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.

Don't miss out on this unique event! Download *Tears of Themis* from the Google Play Store and dive into the "Ballad of the Dunes" to experience the magic of Dunhuang's cultural heritage.
