What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?
Originally released in Japan in 1995 and 1998 for the PlayStation, *Suikoden I* and *Suikoden II* made their way to Western audiences a year later. Each game in the series revolves around recruiting 108 warriors to join your cause and battle against the forces of evil. The remaster maintains the charm of the original pixelated graphics while enhancing them to fit modern widescreen displays. Spell effects have been improved for smoother visuals, and character portraits have been redrawn in HD.
Beyond the visual enhancements, the remaster includes quality-of-life features such as the ability to speed up battles or activate an auto-battle mode, auto-save functionality, a conversation log to prevent missing dialogue, and a revamped user interface that simplifies tasks like changing equipment.
