Stumble Guys and Barbie to team up once again, but this time it\'s not in-game

  • Stumble Guys and Barbie are set to partner once more
  • This time, however, it's for a brand-new toy line
  • Exclusively available at Walmart and other international retailers, it's sure to capture kid's imaginations (and their parent's wallets)

I think it's safe to say that, while the jury is still out on which is better between Stumble Guys and Fall Guys, the former has thoroughly won in terms of raw numbers. And part of that is the fact that Stumble Guys has capitalised thoroughly on a series of successful collaborations, including with Mattel's iconic Barbie franchise.

So, it should be little surprise that the two are set to partner up once again. But what is at least somewhat intriguing is the form that this new collaboration takes. For one, it's not anything in-game, but on toy shelves, just in time for Christmas! Yes, soon you'll be able to grab limited-edition plushes of Barbie and Ken in the form of their Stumble Guys appearances.

Set to retail exclusively at Walmart in the US, and select retailers worldwide, the collaboration consists of a mix of blind box figures, six-pack sets and other action figures, alongside the requisite cuddly plushes.

yt Hello Barbie, let's go barbie (ah, ah, ah yeah)

I've always thought one of the major stumbles (pun not intended) that Fall Guys had was not making it to mobile before its competitors. Stumble Guys is proof that, had they just been a bit sooner, the formula of obstacle course battle royales was a sure-fire winner.

It should be little surprise then that Stumble Guys are eager to capitalise on that success, and with how Barbie is always looking to reinvent and rebrand to capture the next generation of kid's imaginations (and their paying parents of course).

Still, while this is interesting for the rest of us, it may not be particularly relevant. What is relevant is new stuff that's set to release. Why not get Ahead of the Game with our new series of the same name, and our latest subject, Your House?
