Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Squid Game Season 2 Collide in New Event!
Microsoft has announced a new in-game event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, kicking off January 3rd. This exciting crossover event features the second season of Netflix's hit show, "Squid Game," which premiered on December 26th.
Players can expect new weapon blueprints and character skins inspired by the series. Developers are also adding fresh game modes to enhance the experience. The event will once again center around Gi-hoon (Lee Jong-jae), the protagonist grappling with the aftermath of the deadly games.
Three years after the first season, Gi-hoon remains determined to uncover the truth behind the games, leading him back into the heart of the mystery.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has already garnered significant praise for its diverse and engaging missions, preventing gameplay monotony. The innovative shooting mechanics and revamped movement system—allowing for versatile sprinting, shooting while falling, and even firing from prone positions—have been particularly well-received. Reviewers also lauded the campaign's balanced length, clocking in at approximately eight hours.
