Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! The event kicks off on January 5th, featuring the Grass-type starter, Sprigatito.
From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your best chance to catch plenty of these adorable Pokémon.
Evolving your Sprigatito into Floragato, and then into Meowscarada, during the event (or within five hours afterward) will unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, making it a valuable addition to your team.
Community Day bonuses amplify the fun:
For an added challenge, a paid Special Research story is available for $2, granting access to exclusive rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research will also be available, giving you a week to complete tasks and earn a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
Don't forget to check the in-game shop for Community Day bundles containing helpful items like Super Incubators, Elite Charged TMs, and Lucky Eggs. Sprigatito-themed stickers will also be available from PokéStops, Gifts, and direct purchase. Plus, be sure to redeem those Pokémon Go codes for some free goodies!
