New Pokémon Sleep Companions: Sneasel and Weavile!

Pokémon Sleep players can now add Sneasel and Weavile to their teams! This guide explains how to befriend these Ice/Dark-type Pokémon (Dark-type only in the game).

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile:

Sneasel and Weavile appear in two locations:

  • Snowdrop Tundra: Their natural habitat, reflecting their Ice/Dark typing in the main series.
  • Greengrass Isle: Accessible to all players, regardless of game progress.

If you're not currently researching on either of these islands, use an EZ Travel Ticket to change your location.

Sleep Types:

Both Sneasel and Weavile are Dozing type Pokémon. Increasing your chances of encountering them requires having a Dozing sleep type for the night. Sneasel is easier to find initially, evolving into Weavile with 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to encounter Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.

Are They Good Additions?

Sneasel's value lies in its berry gathering capabilities (Wiki Berries) and its ability to boost dish tastiness. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable asset to your Snowdrop Tundra team.
