Simply hold down the Y key on your keyboard, or the back button on your controller, for approximately one second to skip a cutscene. If you're using a less common control scheme, briefly press a few buttons during a cutscene; the required input will be displayed in the top-right corner of the screen.
Need a closer look? You can pause cutscenes at any time. However, since many Wilds cutscenes are integral to the narrative, skipping them is best reserved for subsequent playthroughs.
