The Simpsons Tapped Out: Game Shutdown Announced by EA

EA's popular mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is ending its run after a twelve-year journey. Originally launched in 2012 (iOS) and 2013 (Android), this city-building game allowed players to recreate their own version of Springfield.

The Final Curtain:

In-app purchases are already unavailable. The game will be removed from app stores on October 31st, 2024. Servers will shut down completely on January 24th, 2025. EA expressed gratitude to its players in a farewell message, acknowledging the successful decade-long partnership with The Simpsons and Disney.

One Last Chance to Play?

Never experienced the fun? The Simpsons: Tapped Out lets you rebuild Springfield after Homer's disastrous mishap. Manage the town, interact with beloved characters (from Homer to Fat Tony), and even expand to Springfield Heights. The freemium model offers free gameplay, but "donuts" act as the in-game currency to accelerate progress. The game frequently included updates based on the show's storylines and seasonal events.

Download The Simpsons: Tapped Out from the Google Play Store before it's gone. Don't miss our article on eBaseball: MLB Pro Spirit, another exciting mobile game launching this fall!
