Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a range of armor suits to enhance survival within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout among the SEVA series, is particularly valuable due to its high PSI protection and the fact it's obtainable early in the game at no cost. Here's how to acquire it:
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V suit is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field featuring a crashed helicopter amidst an Electro anomaly and a large, rusty crane. The suit itself rests atop the crane.
Accessing the Suit: Climbing the Crane
Upon reaching the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter within the Electro anomaly (to the right) and a ladder leading up the rusty crane (to the left). Before ascending the crane, it's advisable to use an artifact detector to retrieve an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field – this will prove useful later.
Climb the crane's ladder. Once at the top, traverse the crane to the left, reaching the operator's cabin.
Retrieving and Utilizing the SEVA-V Armor
Carefully jump across the gap to the operator's cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
The SEVA-V suit can be upgraded by Screw, the technician at the Rostok base. It supports up to four artifact slots and offers superior radiation protection alongside excellent PSI protection. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
