A recent PlayStation Blog post featured an image containing what appears to be a new PS5 design, strikingly similar to leaked PS5 Pro images. This detail, initially spotted by a dedicated fan in the background of the anniversary logo on Sony's website, has led many to believe an official announcement is imminent.
The discovery has fueled speculation about a potential PS5 Pro unveiling, possibly coinciding with a late-September event. While Sony remains officially silent on a State of Play event, the rumors surrounding a major reveal are growing stronger.
Meanwhile, Sony is commemorating PlayStation's 30th anniversary with a range of exciting events. These include a free Gran Turismo 7 trial, digital soundtracks from classic PlayStation games, and the upcoming "Shapes of Play" collection.
