Pokémon GO World Championships 2024: Secure Exclusive Rewards with Twitch Drops!
Trainers, get ready! Pokémon GO is offering incredible exclusive rewards during the Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 in Honolulu! From August 16th to 18th, 2024, you can earn Twitch Drops and redeem codes for special in-game bonuses.
Claiming Your Twitch Drops:
Watch a minimum of 30 minutes of the official Pokémon GO World Championships livestream on Twitch. Remember to link your Twitch and Pokémon Trainer Club accounts beforehand! Keep the stream open; minimizing it will pause your progress. A Twitch notification will alert you when you've earned a drop, which you can claim on the Twitch Drops Inventory Page or at rewards.pokemon.com (codes valid until August 26th, 11:59 PM UTC).
Exclusive In-Game Rewards:
You can earn up to three unique codes: two from the main livestream (one per day) and one additional code by watching official co-streams (August 16th, 9:00 AM HST – August 19th, 12:00 AM HST). These codes unlock Timed Research with amazing rewards:
Day 1 Rewards:
Redeeming the Day 1 code grants access to Timed Research featuring:
- An encounter with a Sableye (Shadow Claw Fast Attack, Foul Play Charged Attack).
- An Elite Charged TM.
- Sableye encountered during this research will also know Shadow Claw and Foul Play.
- Bonus Candy XL (Trainers level 31+) for completing three-star Shadow Raids (Shadow Sableye may appear!).
Day 2 Rewards:
The Day 2 code unlocks Timed Research focused on building a Great League team. Choose from three options:
- Team Option 1: Dunsparce, Mantine, Pancham
- Team Option 2: Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, Chespin
- Team Option 3: Jigglypuff, Shellos, Inkay
This research also includes 8,500 Stardust and increased Shiny encounter rates!
