Path of Exile 2's Endgame Rituals: A Comprehensive Guide
Path of Exile 2 introduces several endgame events, including Breaches, Expeditions, Delirium, and Rituals. This guide focuses on Rituals, a revamped mechanic from previous PoE Leagues. We'll cover initiation, mechanics, the Pinnacle boss, and the unique reward system.

Identifying and Initiating Rituals
On the Atlas, Ritual Altar map nodes are marked with a red pentagram icon. Guarantee Ritual encounters by using a Ritual Precursor Tablet in a completed Lost Tower.
Once in a Ritual map, several Altars will appear. Each map has a shared random modifier affecting enemies and mechanics. These modifiers might include massive rat swarms or life-draining blood pools.
Interact with an Altar to trigger a wave of enemies. Remain within the designated circle; venturing into the shadows ends the event without rewards. Successfully completing all Rituals on a map marks it as complete.
The King in the Mists: The Pinnacle Boss
'An Audience With The King,' a unique currency item, unlocks the Crux of Nothingness and the King in the Mists Pinnacle Boss fight. Use it in your Atlas Realmgate.
The King in the Mists shares mechanics with the Act 1 Cruel version. Defeating him grants 2 Ritual Passive Skill points, a chance at unique PoE 2 items, powerful currencies, and Omen items.
Ritual Passive Skill Tree

The Ritual Passive Skill Tree, accessible from the Atlas, modifies Ritual events. It's located in the bottom right of the Atlas tree. Nodes enhance rewards, reduce Tribute requirements, and boost unique currency drop chances. Increasing boss difficulty is necessary to unlock new Notable nodes.

Ritual Rewards: Tribute and Favours
Completed Rituals grant Tribute, a temporary currency used to purchase Favours (randomized items). More Altars completed increase Tribute and unlock more Favours, including high-tier currencies and Rare gear. 'An Audience With The King' is a Favour reward.
Omens: Powerful Consumable Items
Omens are powerful, highly sought-after items that modify the effects of other currency items. Examples include Omens of Annulment and Alchemy. Consider trading them if unsure of their use.
Other Rewards
Ritual events also yield high-tier currencies (Exalted Orbs, Vaal Orbs, etc.). The King in the Mists has a chance to drop Uniques from a Ritual-exclusive pool.
