Path of Exile 2: A Comprehensive Guide to Delirium Endgame Events

Path of Exile 2 features four major endgame Atlas map events: Rituals, Breaches, Expeditions, and Delirium. Delirium, a returning mechanic from previous Path of Exile leagues, is detailed below.

Understanding the Delirium Fog Mechanic

Delirium Mirror Icon Atlas map nodes offering guaranteed Delirium events are marked with a distinctive white and black icon resembling the Delirium Mirror. You can guarantee a Delirium event by placing a Delirium Precursor Tablet in a Lost Tower.

Within a Delirium map, locate the Delirium Mirror near your starting point. Activating it unleashes a swirling circle of Delirium Fog. This fog expands, increasing enemy difficulty. Leaving the fog ends the event and resets the map.

Enemies within the fog are enhanced and have a chance to drop valuable rewards: Distilled Emotions (used in crafting) and Simulacrum Splinters (for summoning the Pinnacle Boss). Fractured Mirrors within the fog offer additional mob waves and loot. Be aware of potential encounters with the powerful bosses Kosis and Omniphobia, which can appear randomly during a Delirium event (and also during the Simulacrum).

The Simulacrum Pinnacle Event

Each endgame event in PoE 2 offers items to summon a Pinnacle Boss. High-tier Waystones in Delirium offer a chance to drop Simulacrum Splinters. Accumulate 300 splinters to create a Simulacrum, which can be placed in the Realmgate.

The Simulacrum is a challenging 15-wave encounter with increasing difficulty. Delirium bosses have an increased chance of appearing in later waves. Completing the Simulacrum rewards two Delirium Passive Skill points.

Navigating the Delirium Passive Skill Tree

Delirium Passive Skill Tree The Delirium Passive Skill Tree, located within the Atlas Passive Skill Tree, modifies Delirium events. Access it via the top-left button on the Atlas Map, then look to the upper right.

This tree, distinctly white and mirror-shaped, features eight Notable nodes and eight nodes increasing Simulacrum difficulty. Each Simulacrum completion grants two passive points; increased difficulty is necessary to reach new Notable nodes.

Prioritize these Notable nodes for optimal rewards: "You Can't Just Wake Up From This One," "Get Out Of My Head!," and "They're Coming To Get You...". These offer significant reward boosts without the drawbacks of other nodes.

Delirium Rewards: Distilled Emotions and More

Distilled Emotions Example Delirium Fog-affected enemies drop Distilled Emotions. Bosses also frequently drop them. These unique currencies are used to Anoint amulets with Notable Passive Skills, eliminating the need to spend passive skill points.

Distilled Emotions can also enhance Waystones, increasing the Delirious debuff and spawning more powerful mobs. Simulacrum Splinters, also dropped by enemies, combine to create a Simulacrum for the Pinnacle event, rewarding Delirium Passive points and a guaranteed Unique item.

All PoE 2 Distilled Emotions

Distilled Ire Distilled Guilt Distilled Greed Distilled Paranoia Distilled Envy Distilled Disgust Distilled Despair Distilled Fear Distilled Suffering Distilled Isolation

This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the Delirium endgame event in Path of Exile 2. Mastering this mechanic will significantly enhance your endgame experience.
