Owlcat Games, renowned for its acclaimed cRPGs like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, has announced its foray into game publishing. This strategic move, following the acquisition of META Publishing in 2021, aims to support and amplify the development of narrative-driven games.

Owlcat's publishing initiative focuses on collaborating with studios that share its passion for compelling storytelling. The company will provide resources and expertise to help developers bring their creative visions to fruition, fostering innovation within the gaming landscape.

Owlcat's Initial Publishing Portfolio:

Owlcat has already partnered with two promising studios:

• Emotion Spark Studio (Serbia): Developing Rue Valley, a narrative RPG centered around a time loop in a remote town. The game explores themes of mental health and personal growth.

• Another Angle Games (Poland): Creating Shadow of the Road, an isometric RPG set in an alternate feudal Japan, blending samurai culture, yokai, steampunk technology, and tactical turn-based combat.

Both Rue Valley and Shadow of the Road are in early development, with further details expected soon.
