Reburn, a newly established studio formed by key developers from 4A Games, has announced its first project: La Quimera, a first-person shooter.
Staying true to their roots, Reburn delivers another FPS experience, but this time with a science fiction twist. The game is situated in a near-future, technologically advanced Latin America. Players assume the role of a Private Military Company soldier, equipped with an exoskeleton, engaging in intense combat against a local organization. Expect dynamic battles across diverse environments, ranging from lush jungles to a vibrant metropolis.
The developers emphasize a compelling narrative and immersive gameplay, playable both solo and in co-op mode with up to three players. Adding to the intrigue, the script and setting are crafted by renowned director Nicolas Winding Refn (known for Drive and The Neon Demon) and E.J.A. Warren.
La Quimera is slated for release on PC via Steam, though a specific release date remains unannounced.
