Iconic 'Time Machine' Now Available in CSR2

Zynga's Custom Street Racer 2 (CSR2) is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future with a time-traveling crossover event!

CSR2: A Back to the Future Experience

Starting now, players can get behind the wheel of the iconic DeLorean Time Machine from the original film. While it doesn't boast performance upgrades or special abilities, the fully drivable DeLorean is a highlight of this exciting collaboration. Beyond the car, CSR2 offers a complete Back to the Future themed experience.

This includes a film-inspired in-game user interface, a fresh narrative storyline, and multiple themed events. Three flash events focusing on the Time Machine will run concurrently with a community competition. Zynga has confirmed that additional themed events will be released throughout the year, ensuring this isn't a one-off update. Currently, CSR2 is hosting social media quizzes with prizes; check their channels for details.

No 1955 Trip (Unfortunately!)

While the game doesn't offer time travel to 1955 or 1999, the CSR2 x Back to the Future collaboration is undeniably unique. The chance to virtually drive the legendary DeLorean is exciting enough!

Zynga's VP of Games, Sam Cooper, emphasized the DeLorean's iconic status and the thrill of letting players experience racing it, celebrating the movie's anniversary.
