Honkai Impact 3rd Prepares for Major Content Update: 'In Search of the Sun'

Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit and exciting events. Get ready for a sun-drenched adventure!

New Battlesuit and Gear:

Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two distinct forms: Rampager (javelin attacks) and Skyrider (hoverboard combat). Her ultimate unleashes a devastating aerial javelin strike. The update also features the Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage), designed to enhance Reign Solaris's abilities, unlocking powerful QTEs and additional javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, showcases Durandal's parallel universe escapades, filled with soccer, bands, skateboarding, and more.

Story and Event Updates:

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars, where Dreamseeker investigates the Ten Shus War, uncovering Coralie's fate and a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.

A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, challenges players to cleanse corrupted data as Cube-ianka. Rewards include 60 million Crystals, Source Prisms, and more.

The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event adds a comedic twist, bringing back Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. Players help Kiana dodge falling drumsticks, command followers in battles, and even become monster trainers. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
