WB Games has a thrilling announcement for all Harry Potter enthusiasts: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will introduce mod support exclusively on PC. This exciting feature will be part of a new patch, available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).
The update will feature the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a comprehensive toolkit that empowers fans to craft new content, including dungeons and quests, as well as customize characters. The renowned platform, CurseForge, will be responsible for hosting and distributing these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will implement a mod manager, simplifying the process of discovering and installing mods that pique your interest.
On launch day, several pre-approved mods will be accessible, including the intriguing Dungeon of Doom. This new dungeon will challenge players to battle through waves of enemies and unravel hidden secrets. However, there's a slight caveat: to access these mods, you'll need to link your game account with a WB Games account.
Alongside mod support, the patch will enhance character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have showcased examples of these mods in the trailer, giving fans a glimpse of what's to come.
In other news, the sequel to this beloved adventure game is already in the works. Warner Bros. Discovery has declared it a top priority for their future projects, promising an exciting continuation of the Hogwarts Legacy saga.
