Hearthstone Is Releasing Its Next Expansion, The Emerald Dream, Soon

The highly anticipated Emerald Dream expansion for Hearthstone is set to launch on March 25th, introducing players to a magical yet perilously twisted world with 145 new cards, innovative mechanics, and legendary Wild Gods.

What’s Happening in This Expansion?

The serene realm of Ysera, the epicenter of all Nature magic, faces a dire threat. Players are invited to either safeguard its pristine beauty or embrace the ensuing chaos.

A new keyword, Imbue, is at the heart of the Into the Emerald Dream expansion. Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans can harness the blessings of the World Tree. When you play an Imbue card for the first time, your Hero Power evolves into a more potent version specific to your class. Each subsequent Imbue card you play enhances your Hero Power further.

For instance, Hunters gain the Blessing of the Wolf. However, if you're not among these six classes, the Imbue mechanic won't affect your gameplay.

On the darker side, players who lean towards chaos can embrace the Dark Gifts keyword. This corruption-filled mechanic appeals to Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors, offering twisted enhancements that complement Discover options. These allow the creation of nightmarish minions capable of causing widespread havoc. The expansion includes 10 different Dark Gifts.

The expansion also introduces The Wild Gods, legendary minions representing colossal forces of nature. Each class is assigned one of these powerful entities. Some have succumbed to corruption, creating a fascinating dichotomy between those defending the Dream and those intent on plunging it into a Nightmare.

With a plethora of new features, The Emerald Dream expansion promises to revitalize Hearthstone gameplay. Mark your calendars for March 25th and prepare by downloading the game from the Google Play Store.
