Free City: A Grand Theft Auto Clone for Android?
VPlay Interactive Games has unleashed Free City, a new Android game bearing a striking resemblance to Grand Theft Auto. Expect a sprawling open world, a diverse arsenal of weapons and vehicles, and plenty of gangster action. Think intense shootouts, bank heists, and undercover missions – all within a wild west-themed gangster setting.
Customization is key. Players can meticulously tailor their character's appearance, from hairstyles and physique to clothing choices. Vehicles and firearms also benefit from extensive customization options.
Beyond solo adventures, Free City offers cooperative missions and player-versus-player (PvP) battles. Engage in chaotic bumper car skirmishes, high-speed firetruck chases, and a host of other over-the-top activities within the game's vast and dynamic city environment. A rich storyline involving rival gangs vying for city control adds depth, complete with voiceovers during key interactions.
Initially launched under the title "City of Outlaws" in Southeast Asia in March 2024, the game's name change to "Free City" is intriguing, especially given its resemblance to the 2021 Ryan Reynolds film of the same name.
If you crave a detailed, open-world gangster experience reminiscent of classic titles, Free City is worth exploring. Download it now from the Google Play Store. And don't forget to check out our coverage of RuneScape's new story quest, Ode of the Devourer!
