CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed optimism, acknowledging the inherent risk of delays: "Look, there's always a risk of slippage...as soon as you say words like 'absolutely,' you jinx things." However, he emphasized their positive outlook, stating they "feel really good about it." While remaining tight-lipped on development specifics, Zelnick highlighted Rockstar's dedication to excellence and the intense competition within the industry.
Zelnick highlighted 2025 as a pivotal year for Take-Two, citing several key releases: "Looking ahead, this calendar year is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever for Take-Two, as Sid Meier’s Civilization VII launched in Early Access today, with the official launch on February 11th, and we also plan to release Mafia: The Old Country in the Summer, Grand Theft Auto VI in the Fall, and Borderlands 4 before year-end." He expressed strong confidence in the commercial potential of these titles. Take-Two projects record-breaking net bookings in fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
