Google Play Store may soon introduce a game-changing feature: automatic app launch upon installation. This potential addition, gleaned from an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19, is currently unconfirmed but promises to streamline the app installation process.
The Details:
According to Android Authority, the feature, tentatively titled "App Auto Open," will offer users the convenience of automatically opening newly downloaded apps. This eliminates the extra steps of locating and launching the app manually. The feature will be entirely optional, allowing users to enable or disable it based on their preference.
How it will work:
Upon successful app download, a notification banner will appear at the top of the screen for approximately five seconds. The notification may also include a sound or vibration alert, ensuring users won't miss it.
Important Note: This information is based on early findings and is not yet officially confirmed by Google. A release date is currently unavailable, but we will provide updates as soon as official information becomes available.
