在TGA游戏大奖公布PC移植版后，《最终幻想7 重生》曾公布过部分PC配置要求，但史克威尔艾尼克斯随后对列表进行了一些调整。公司澄清了之前的PC配置，明确表示使用4K显示器的玩家建议使用至少12GB至16GB显存的显卡。游戏仍需64位Windows 10或11操作系统，155GB的固态硬盘存储空间，以及至少16GB的内存。处理器方面，推荐使用AMD Ryzen 5 5600或更高性能的多核CPU。显卡方面，由于游戏将使用深度学习超采样（DLSS）技术提升性能，《最终幻想7 重生》需要Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060或更高型号的显卡。
